Website Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

Short version: this policy covers the website at roguewavelabs.dev only. It has no sign-up, no accounts, and no advertising. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read. Our games each have their own, separate privacy policy — those are the ones that describe what happens inside the apps.

RogueWave Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website at roguewavelabs.dev (the "Site"). This policy explains what data the Site handles and why. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Looking for a game's privacy policy?

The apps and the website are separate. If you want to know what a game collects on your device, read its own policy:

2. What the website collects

The Site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no comments, and no forms. We never ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail. There is no advertising on the Site.

Data Source Purpose
Pages viewed, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type, referring site Google Analytics 4 Understanding which pages are useful
IP address and standard request logs Cloudflare Pages (hosting) Serving the Site, security, abuse prevention
IP address and device information Google Fonts Loading the typefaces the Site uses
Your light/dark preference (arrows-theme) Your browser's local storage Remembering the theme you picked on the Arrows pages

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic — how many people arrive, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. It is configured for measurement only: we do not run ads, we do not build advertising audiences from it, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits.

You can opt out entirely by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, by blocking cookies for this Site, or by using your browser's private mode.

4. Fonts and hosting

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and basic device information as part of that request. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

5. Local storage

The Arrows pages let you switch between light and dark. That single choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key arrows-theme. It never leaves your device, is not linked to you, and clearing your browser data removes it.

6. What we don't do

  • We don't sell or share your personal information.
  • We don't show ads on this website.
  • We don't run trackers beyond the analytics described above.
  • We don't ask for, store, or process any account or contact details, except the contents of an email you choose to send us.

7. Emailing us

If you email [email protected], we keep that message so we can reply and follow up. We use it for nothing else, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the Site holds no account and no profile of you, in practice this means analytics data and any email correspondence. Write to us at the address below and we'll act on it.

For visitors in the EEA and UK: we rely on legitimate interests for aggregate analytics and for keeping the Site running securely.

9. Children

This is a marketing website for a game studio and it isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Both of our games target a general audience (13 and over), which each game's own privacy policy sets out in full.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we'll update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
