Arrows: Color Maze

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

Short version: Arrows: Color Maze needs no account and keeps your game progress on your device, not our servers. The game does show ads (via Google AdMob) and, only with your consent, anonymous analytics — neither asks for your name, email, or any login, and we never sell your data.

RogueWave Labs ("we," "our," or "us") builds Arrows: Color Maze (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Arrows: Color Maze is built to respect your privacy. We require no account and collect no name, email, or sign-in identity. The data the App does send is limited to showing ads, keeping the App stable, and — only with your consent — understanding which features are used, as detailed below.

2. Local Storage

Game progress, completed levels, settings, and streaks are stored exclusively on your device using Android's shared_preferences system. This data:

3. Local Notifications

The App may send local reminder notifications (e.g., to play today's daily challenge). These are scheduled entirely on-device. No notification tokens or push infrastructure are used. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.

4. Daily Challenges (Firestore)

Daily challenge puzzles are retrieved from Google Firestore using a public, read-only endpoint keyed by date (e.g., 2026-06-09). No user data is written to Firestore. No user ID, device ID, or any identifier is transmitted with this request — it is equivalent to loading a public webpage.

5. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob — The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent.

How Google uses advertising data →

Firebase Crashlytics — Automatically collects crash reports and device diagnostics (OS version, device model, stack trace) when the App crashes. It contains no name, email, or sign-in identity, and it is used solely to fix bugs. It does include a Firebase installation identifier for this install, which is what lets us tell one device’s crashes apart from another’s; it is reset if you clear the app’s data or reinstall.

Firebase Privacy Policy →

Firebase Analytics — If you consent during the optional analytics prompt, the App sends usage events (e.g. "level completed", "mode selected") to Google. No name, email, or sign-in identity is ever sent, and the advertising ID is not attached to them. Analytics does include an app-instance identifier that Google generates for this install, which is how events from one device are grouped together; it is reset if you clear the app’s data or reinstall. You can withdraw consent at any time in App settings.

Google Privacy Policy →

The App does not use: authentication services, cloud storage for your game data, push-notification servers, social login, or in-app purchases.

6. No Accounts Required

Arrows: Color Maze requires no account, login, or sign-up of any kind. There is no user profile, no display name, and no cloud identity. Every feature of the App is available from first launch without providing any personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a simple puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App displays third-party ads, ad content is governed by Google's policies; parents and guardians with questions may contact us at the address below.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Your game progress lives entirely on your device, and RogueWave Labs operates no servers that store a profile of you — so there is no account record to access, correct, or delete. You can clear everything by uninstalling the App; see our data deletion guide for step-by-step instructions.

Ads & analytics consent

On first launch you choose whether to allow personalized ads and analytics. You can change that choice at any time in App settings → Privacy, and you can reset or delete the device advertising identifier in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Previously collected analytics events are anonymous and cannot be individually identified or deleted.

Legal basis (GDPR/UK)

For users in the EEA and UK, we rely on your consent for personalized advertising and analytics, and on legitimate interests for non-personalized ads (frequency capping, fraud prevention) and essential crash reporting. You can withdraw consent at any time in the App's privacy settings.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information. However, like many free apps, we use Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers for advertising — this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. California residents can opt out of personalized ads through the App's privacy settings.

9. Data Security

Local data is protected by Android's app sandboxing — other apps cannot access your game data. Crashlytics and Analytics data is transmitted over HTTPS to Google's infrastructure. We do not operate any servers that store user data.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy (for example, if we add a feature that collects data), we will update the effective date and notify users via an in-app notice on the next launch. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
