Common questions

Is the game free?

Yes — Arrows: Color Maze is free, and the current version has no in-app purchases. Nothing is locked behind a payment: the tools that help you out show up as you play, and they're the same for everyone. They are finite: you hold three of each, and they top back up daily. An optional ad buys another charge when you run out. The game is supported by ads.

Are there ads?

Yes. The game is free and ad-supported: you'll see a brief ad between some levels, and you can optionally watch a rewarded ad to earn another hint, eraser, wand or life. We keep ads out of the middle of a puzzle. In Europe, Google's consent form appears the first time you open the game and your answer there governs ad personalisation; anywhere else you can change it any time under Settings, in Manage ad privacy.

Do I need an account or internet?

No account, ever. Every puzzle is bundled with the app, including the daily challenge, so the game plays fully offline.

How does the Color Phase mechanic work?

Tap an arrow to slide it off the board. Pick a color and every matching arrow turns ghostly — passable, but stuck in place. Frozen arrows can both block and free paths, so the trick is choosing when to phase. There's a step-by-step walkthrough on the game page, and a full rundown in how to play.

How does the daily challenge work?

The Challenge tab gives you one puzzle a day, and it is the same puzzle for every player. It counts toward your streak, and so does any other level you finish that day. It unlocks at level 50 — until then the tab shows a padlock — and like the rest of the game it works offline, because the puzzles ship inside the app.

I reinstalled and lost my progress. Can I get it back?

Because everything is stored locally and tied to no account, uninstalling the App clears its data and progress can't be recovered. There's no cloud backup to restore from.

How do I delete my data?

All your game progress lives on your device. See the data deletion guide for how to clear it. The short version: uninstalling the App removes everything.
